The Central Jersey Medical Center and The Central Jersey Dental Center recognize that minority communities continue to face significant health disparities that aren’t just numbers on a page they’re real life experiences shaped by systemic issues, socioeconomic barriers, and cultural divides. Health Disparities within our Communities

Minority populations including African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian Americans experience higher rates of chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and certain cancers. Mental health issues are also prevalent but often go untreated due to stigma, lack of access, or cultural barriers; something that the Central Jersey Medical Center works tirelessly to address.

African Americans are nearly twice as likely to be diagnosed with diabetes and the Central Jersey Medical Center’s Endocrinology services are an excellent resource.

Hispanic/Latino populations often face higher rates of obesity and are less likely to have health insurance. The Central Jersey Medical Center can assist those with little or no insurance, and they accept both Medicare and Medicaid.
